Description

This plain photo frame is a real silverplated piece with a wide black border edged in bright silver, inside and out. It holds a single photograph in one rectangular opening. There is no mount, so the print sits straight inside the inner silver line. The design is deliberately simple, with no pattern or motif, just clean black and silver that keeps every eye on the picture. We offer it in four sizes, 6 x 4in, 7 x 5in, 8 x 6in and 10 x 8in, so you can choose the one that matches the print you already have.

With a strut at the back, the frame stands on its own, so it needs no wall, no hooks and no drilling. That makes it an easy fit for a bedside table, a mantelpiece, a bookshelf or a desk at home or at work, where the black border sits comfortably beside modern and traditional furniture alike. The 6 x 4in and 7 x 5in sizes suit everyday prints and holiday snaps, while the 8 x 6in and 10 x 8in sizes give a portrait or a family group more room to breathe. Because it is so plain, it suits almost any photograph and almost any home, which makes it a dependable gift when you want the picture to be the main event.

The silver edging carries a real silverplated finish, bright and clean against the black. To keep it at its best, dust it with a soft dry cloth and steer clear of harsh or abrasive cleaners, which can wear a plated surface over time. With no mount to trim, a standard print in the matching size goes straight in. For a ready-made present, slip a favourite photograph inside before you wrap it.
