Pianopoli Clear Glass Pendant Light 87cm - Chrome

Ten clear glass flowers hang from a long chrome canopy on the Pianopoli bar pendant. Each flower sits on a slim rod over a polished chrome dome, and the faceted brilliant glass petals catch the light from every angle. The body is stainless steel in a chrome finish, and the whole light measures 87cm long, 10cm wide and 110cm high overall. It runs on integrated LEDs, ten lights at 2.5W each, giving 270lm per light at a warm 3000K. With an IP20 rating it is made for dry rooms indoors, so it stays out of bathrooms and porches.

Its long, narrow shape makes it a natural choice over a dining table or a kitchen island, where the row of flowers follows the length of the surface. The flowers hang at staggered heights, so the line reads as a loose cluster rather than a rigid row, which suits a modern kitchen and a formal dining room alike. Hung in a living room or a wide hallway, the clear glass keeps it light on the eye, and the chrome sits well with grey, white and cool colour schemes. Can I use this pendant light in a bathroom?

No. It is rated IP20, which means it is made for dry rooms indoors, so we would keep it out of bathrooms and away from water.

Is the Pianopoli dimmable?

No, it is not dimmable. It has no switch of its own and is switched at the wall, so you turn it on and off with your ordinary wall switch.

How bright is the light?

Each of the ten integrated LED lights gives 270lm at 2.5W, with a 3000K colour temperature for a warm white glow.

Can the LEDs be replaced?

Yes. Although the LEDs are integrated, they are replaceable, so a worn LED can be changed rather than replacing the whole pendant.
