Description

The Piagnolo is a tall LED floor lamp in a black finish, with a body of steel and aluminium. A slim stem rises from a round base to a flat, round head. The lamp stands 168cm tall, and the head and the base are each 25cm in diameter. The LEDs sit in the head and send 2,000 lumens upwards, so the ceiling catches the light and returns it to the room as a broad, indirect glow. It is rated IP20, which settles where it lives: indoors, in dry rooms.

Standing on its own round base, it goes wherever you have a little floor space: beside the sofa in a living room, in a bedroom corner or next to the desk in a home office. With the head and base both 25cm in diameter, it takes very little room, so it suits a tight corner or the gap beside an armchair. The light is thrown towards the ceiling rather than straight into your eyes, so the room is lit gently without the glare of a bare bulb at eye level.
