Phosra 1 Light Pendant - White, 40cm

The Phosra is a 40cm white glass pendant light with an oblate spheroid shade made from acid-etched blown glass, suspended from a white powder-coated metal ceiling rose on a transparent PVC cable. A single E27 bulb fitting (bulb sold separately) sits inside the glass, with the etched surface diffusing light in all directions while softening the visible brightness of the bulb itself.

Designed for dining rooms, living rooms and entrance halls with ceiling heights of 2.4m or higher, the Phosra provides ambient light for spaces up to 15-20m². The 2000mm cable can be shortened during installation to adjust the drop height, typically hanging 700-900mm above a dining table or 1500-1800mm from the ceiling in an entrance hall. The screwless magnetic closure on the ceiling rose allows tool-free access to the cable fixing if height adjustment is needed after installation.

The acid-etched finish on the blown glass gives a soft matte-white surface that hides fingerprints and dust better than polished glass while maintaining light transmission. The white powder-coated metal frame and ceiling rose provide a monochromatic finish that pairs with white ceilings without visual break, making the pendant read as a floating glass form rather than a mechanical fitting. The E27 socket accepts LED, halogen or filament bulbs up to 60W, and is dimmable when paired with compatible dimmers and dimmable bulbs.

What bulb does the Phosra take?

The pendant takes a standard E27 (Edison screw) bulb up to 60W. Bulbs are sold separately. Most buyers pair this with a warm-white LED globe bulb between 8-12W and 2700K-3000K for ambient dining or living room light.

Is the Phosra dimmable?

Yes, the E27 socket is dimmer-compatible. You will need both a compatible dimmer switch and a dimmable bulb. LED bulbs specify dimmer compatibility on their packaging.

Can the cable length be adjusted?

Yes. The 2000mm cable can be shortened during installation by looping excess cable inside the ceiling rose. The screwless magnetic closure allows tool-free access to the rose interior if adjustment is needed after initial fitting.
