Description

Pedersano is a square LED outdoor wall light in textured black, with softly rounded corners, a flat front plate and a thin white band that runs between the plate and the wall box. It is 14cm tall and 14cm across, standing just 4.7cm out from the wall, and weighs 0.43KG. The body is aluminium and plastic, and the LED is integrated, so there is no bulb to buy or change. It gives 950lm of light, and its IP44 rating means it is protected from splashing water, so it lives outdoors on a house wall or in a garden.

Because it sits so close to the wall, it suits a front door, a porch, a side passage or a garden wall, where a deeper lantern would catch shoulders and bags. The plain square shape sits comfortably against modern render, brick or cladding, and we like a pair either side of a door, which looks tidy and deliberate. It can also work in a bathroom, where a qualified electrician will confirm the right zone. What you gain is a bright, neat light that does its job without asking for attention.

There are three colour temperatures, chosen at the light: 2700K for a warm white that flatters brickwork and planting, 4000K for a neutral white, and 6500K for a crisp, cool white that shows a doorstep clearly. There is no switch on the light itself, so it is switched at the wall, and as a wired-in mains light it is installed by a qualified electrician.
