This square trinket box carries a petal design across its lid, set with cream pearls and clear crystals on a silverplated metal body. Long petals lined with pearls alternate with shorter petals set with crystals, all opening out from a small flower at the centre, and each petal is edged with a fine beaded border. A single pearl sits between each pair of petal tips, and a band of crystals in oval settings runs around the sides, so the box catches the light from every angle. It measures 5.3cm across, 5.3cm deep and 2.7cm high, a small, neat size that rests easily in the palm of your hand.

On a dressing table it gives a ring, a pair of earrings or a favourite pendant a proper place to rest overnight, and on a bedside table it keeps small keepsakes together rather than scattered.
