Description

The Pearce is a 356mm drum pendant light combining an aged brass ceiling pan and finial with an ivory faux silk fabric shade and a gloss white acrylic diffuser at the base. The pendant hangs on adjustable suspension wires up to 2000mm long, allowing the drop to be set during installation to suit ceiling heights between 2.4m and 3.5m. The E27 socket accepts a single bulb up to 60W (sold separately).

Designed for dining nooks, bedrooms, smaller kitchens and hallways, the Pearce works where a compact pendant is needed over a table, sideboard or bedside position. The 356mm drum diameter provides enough diffusion for ambient light without dominating a smaller room. The adjustable drop means the pendant can be positioned 600-800mm above a dining table or 1500-1800mm above floor level for hallway or bedroom installation, depending on the ceiling height available.

The aged brass finish on the canopy and central finial shows a muted, slightly tarnished gold tone that sits between polished brass and antique bronze, pairing well with warm-toned interiors, oak furniture and traditional or transitional schemes. The ivory faux silk shade diffuses light evenly across the fabric surface, with the white acrylic diffuser at the base preventing direct glare from the bulb while maintaining downward light output for task surfaces below.

What bulb does the Pearce take?

The pendant takes a single E27 (Edison screw) bulb up to 60W maximum. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with a warm-white LED bulb between 6-10W and 2700K-3000K for dining or bedroom use.

Can the drop height be adjusted?

Yes, the drop is adjustable on installation using the 2000mm suspension wires. The wires can be shortened to suit your ceiling height and the position you need the pendant to hang at, whether 600-800mm above a table or 1500-1800mm above floor level.

Is the shade washable?

The faux silk fabric shade should not be washed or soaked. Dust can be removed with a soft, dry microfibre cloth or a gentle vacuum attachment on low suction. For stubborn marks, a barely-damp cloth may be used, but avoid saturating the fabric.

What finish is the aged brass?

Aged brass is a muted, slightly tarnished gold tone that sits between bright polished brass and darker antique bronze. It shows a warmer, softer metallic finish than polished brass, with subtle darker tones that suggest natural patina.
