Description

The Patrovaro is a slim LED bathroom mirror light, 60cm long, 5.5cm wide and 6.5cm high, made to run along the top of a mirror. Its body is aluminium in a bright chrome finish, and the long white plastic shade is fluted along its full length, with polished chrome caps at either end. The LEDs give 2,000 lumens, a generous output for lighting your face clearly at the basin. It is rated IP44, so it is protected from splashing water, and that is the rating that lets it live in a bathroom where a mirror light earns its keep.

Its natural home is above the mirror over a bathroom basin, where an even band of light falls across your face for shaving, make-up and getting ready in the morning. The same IP44 rating suits an en suite or a cloakroom too, and a qualified electrician should install it and will confirm the right zone for your bathroom. At 60cm long it sits neatly over a mirror of a similar width, and the fluted shade spreads the light into a soft, even line. We think it suits anyone refreshing a bathroom who wants clear, practical light with a classic look.

The light is controlled from your wall switch and works simply on and off, as it is not dimmable. What many people do not expect is the choice of three colour temperatures, which you set at the light itself, so you can pick the white that best matches the room and your other lighting. It runs on 220-240V mains and weighs 0.545KG packed, so it is easy to handle during fitting. The installation instructions come as a download, so you can read them ahead of the work.
