Description

The Pasion is a 3 light pendant with a gloss white fibreglass shell suspended beneath a polished chrome ceiling canopy. The 450mm-wide body curves into a sculptural ovoid shape, with an opal acrylic diffuser beneath that houses three E27 bulbs behind a soft-edged translucent panel. The fibreglass shell is lacquered to a gloss finish that reflects ambient light across its curved surface.

Designed for dining tables, kitchen islands and living room centrepieces, the Pasion provides diffused ambient light rather than directed task lighting. The 320mm minimum drop suits standard ceiling heights of 2.4m, while the 1500mm maximum allows the pendant to be lowered over tables in double-height spaces or rooms with higher ceilings. The opal acrylic diffuser distributes light evenly below the pendant without visible hot-spots from the bulbs.

The fibreglass body is formed as a single moulded piece, giving a profile with no visible joins or fixings when viewed from below. The polished chrome canopy and suspension cables provide a metallic accent against the white shell. At 2kg total weight, the pendant requires a ceiling rose capable of supporting a 3-4kg load. The gloss white finish pairs with both monochrome contemporary interiors and warmer neutral schemes.

The 45W combined draw across the three E27 sockets keeps power use modest, suiting the pendant to ambient rather than bright task lighting. What bulbs does the Pasion take?

The pendant takes three E27 (Edison screw) bulbs up to a combined 45W total. CFL lamps are included with the fitting. When switching to LED, we suggest three 6-8W warm white LED bulbs at 2700K to match the included lamp colour temperature.

Is the Pasion dimmable?

Yes, provided you use dimmable bulbs and pair the pendant with a compatible dimmer switch. The pendant itself does not include dimming electronics, so dimmer compatibility depends on the bulbs you install.

What ceiling height is needed?

The 320mm minimum drop works in standard 2.4m ceiling rooms, placing the pendant approximately 2.08m above floor level. For dining tables or kitchen islands, the pendant typically hangs 700-800mm above the surface, which suits ceiling heights of 2.4m upwards.

How is the fibreglass shell cleaned?

Wipe the gloss white shell with a dry microfibre cloth to remove dust. For marks or fingerprints, use a barely-damp cloth with water only. Avoid household sprays or polishes, which can dull the gloss lacquer finish over time.
