Pasion 3 Light Pendant Light - Gloss Black & Polished Chrome

The Pasion is a three-light pendant suspended from a polished chrome ceiling plate, with a sculptural fibreglass shell finished in deep gloss black lacquer. The shell curves outward from the suspension point, reaching its widest profile at approximately mid-height before tapering gently toward the base. An opal acrylic diffuser sits flush with the bottom edge, creating a continuous white surface that softens the downward light throw from the three E27 bulbs housed inside.

Designed for dining tables, kitchen islands and entrance halls with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above, the pendant delivers warm 2700K ambient light through the opal diffuser while the black outer shell prevents glare from the sides. The polished chrome suspension hardware and ceiling plate provide a reflective accent against the matt-black cable. The 180mm length and 150mm width give the pendant a compact footprint, suitable for single-pendant installations over small-to-medium dining tables or as a repeating element in multi-pendant arrangements along a kitchen island.

The fibreglass construction keeps the total weight to 2.5kg, allowing the pendant to be fitted to standard UK ceiling roses without additional bracing. The gloss black finish shows subtle reflections under daylight and gains depth under artificial light, with the curved form creating tonal variation across the surface. The 1500mm maximum drop is adjustable during installation, with a 320mm minimum drop for lower ceiling applications. Three CFL bulbs are included in the box.

Are bulbs included?

Yes. Three E27 CFL bulbs are included in the box, rated at 2700K warm white with a combined 45W power consumption. These can be replaced with LED equivalents if preferred.

Is the pendant dimmable?

Yes, if paired with dimmable bulbs and a compatible dimmer switch. The included CFL bulbs may not be dimmable — check the packaging. Most warm-white E27 LED bulbs rated as dimmable will work with standard trailing-edge dimmers.

What ceiling height is required?

The 1500mm maximum drop is adjustable down to 320mm minimum. For a dining table or kitchen island, the pendant typically hangs 700-800mm above the surface, which requires a ceiling height of approximately 2.4m or above. Lower ceilings can use the shorter drop setting.

Can multiple pendants be installed together?

Yes. The compact 180mm × 150mm footprint allows multiple Pasion pendants to be spaced along a kitchen island or arranged in a cluster over a larger dining table. Space centres approximately 600-800mm apart for balanced coverage.
