Description

The Park is a walkable outdoor in-ground light that recesses flush into a deck, path or hard landscaping and throws its light upward. It is a round fitting, 105mm across, built to be stepped and even driven over: a hard-wearing PVC outer body sits below the surface, an aluminium parabola shapes the beam, and a glazed steel frame holds a clear glass lens flush with the ground. Sunk into a walkway or terrace it all but disappears by day, reading as a small steel and glass disc set into the surface.

By night it lifts light from the ground rather than casting it down, so it grazes a wall, a step edge, a tree trunk or a run of planting from below and picks out the shape without a fitting in view at eye level. Rated IP67, it is sealed against dust and against temporary immersion in water, which is what lets it sit in a surface that rain pools on or that gets washed down. That makes it suited to a garden path, a driveway, a terrace or a threshold where a low, hidden, upward light is wanted.

It takes a single GU10 lamp of up to 20W, which is not included, so the tone and beam are yours to choose and simple to change: fit a warm GU10 for a soft glow or a cooler one for a crisper wash, and swap it later without lifting the whole fitting. We can supply a suitable GU10 lamp alongside so it is ready to wire in on the day.
