The Paris flush ceiling light is a brass dome shade that sits close to the ceiling, with a slotted, vented gallery between the shade and a round ceiling plate. It is a single light: one E27 bulb sits inside the dome and its light falls down into the room. It measures 27cm tall and 30cm across, so it suits rooms where a hanging pendant would crowd the headroom. We offer it in four finishes, Antique Silver, Antique Brass, Polished Brass and Satin Brass, each made in brass with the same industrial dome shape.

Because it sits close to the ceiling, it is a natural choice for a hallway, where a low fitting stays clear of heads and doorways. The open dome sends its light downward, which works well over a hall table or along a passage. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms only. The Polished Brass and Satin Brass finishes bring a warm gold tone, while Antique Brass and Antique Silver have an aged, worn look that sits well in older houses and industrial interiors.

Each Paris light is made to order for you in Ireland. With no chain or flex to hang from, the shade stays steady and neat close to the ceiling. Bulbs are sold separately: it takes one E27 bulb, up to 60W per bulb, so you can pick the bulb you like within that limit. The maker guarantees the fittings it makes for five years from the date of purchase, and bulbs are not covered. As a mains fitting, it needs to be wired in by a qualified electrician, so plan for that when you order.
