Description

The Paola is a 1m linear chandelier built on two horizontal silver-painted arms extending from a central stem, each arm holding three E14 bulb fittings with cream fabric shades. Six small black crystal droplets hang beneath the fittings, adding weight and a hint of detail without overwhelming the linear frame. The chandelier suspends on a chain with adjustable drop from 680mm to 1680mm.

Designed for dining tables 1.6-2.2m long and kitchen islands, the Paola's 1m width provides even light distribution across the surface below when hung 700-800mm above the tabletop. The six E14 fittings accept candle bulbs (sold separately), typically 4-6W LED per socket, giving flexibility over total light output and colour temperature. The silver-painted metal frame contrasts with the warm cream shades, balancing cooler and warmer tones in the same fitting.

The two arms curve slightly at their centre point where they meet the main stem, introducing a gentle S-curve into the otherwise geometric horizontal line. This curve gives the chandelier a more organic appearance than a purely straight-bar design. The cream shades diffuse the light from the exposed bulbs, softening the output and reducing glare from directly below. The black crystal droplets match the black detailing visible at the top of each fitting cup.

The 2.4kg weight requires secure fixing to a joist or ceiling rose rated for the load. The chain and cable run conceals within the suspension, and the silver ceiling canopy fits standard UK ceiling roses.
