Description

The Paola is a 64cm six-light chandelier built on three curved gold-painted arms that radiate from a central column, each arm dividing to hold two E14 bulb fittings dressed with cream fabric shades. Crystal droplet accents hang beneath each arm junction, catching light without dominating the visual frame. The chandelier accepts six E14 bulbs (sold separately) and is dimmable when paired with dimmable lamps and a compatible dimmer switch.

Designed for dining rooms and living rooms with ceiling heights of 2.6m or above, the Paola hangs on an adjustable chain allowing drop heights from 650mm to 1650mm. The 640mm diameter suits tables of 1200-1800mm length or living room zones of 12-18m² where the light can be positioned centrally without overwhelming the space. The three-arm symmetry and circular arrangement of the six lights provide even distribution across the surface below.

The gold-painted metal frame presents as a warm mid-tone metallic finish with a slight sheen that reflects ambient daylight and artificial light without the high glare of polished brass. The cream fabric shades diffuse bulb glare and soften the light cast, making the chandelier suitable for both task lighting above a dining table and ambient lighting in a lounge. The 2.8kg weight requires secure ceiling fixing into a joist or load-bearing anchor.

The E14 sockets accept candle, golf-ball or flame-tip bulbs, letting you set colour temperature between 2700K and 3000K to suit the room. Dimmable lamps and a compatible switch allow the six lights to be lowered together for softer evening light.

The chandelier takes six E14 (small Edison screw) bulbs, sold separately. We suggest pairing it with 4-6W LED candle bulbs in 2700K-3000K warm white for dining room use, giving a combined output of 24-36W equivalent.

Is it dimmable?

Yes, if fitted with dimmable E14 LED bulbs and connected to a compatible LED dimmer switch. Non-dimmable bulbs will not dim and may flicker or fail if used with a dimmer.

What ceiling height is needed?

The adjustable chain allows drops from 650mm to 1650mm. For a dining table, the chandelier typically sits 750-850mm above the table surface, which requires a ceiling height of at least 2.6m. Lower ceilings can shorten the chain during installation.
