Description

The Pantoja is an arc floor lamp in black steel. It rises from a round marble base and curves over to hold a grooved glass globe in amber. It stands 160cm tall, is 92cm long and 24cm wide, and sits on a base 40cm in diameter. The light comes from an integrated LED of 5.8W giving 1,100lm, a bright and useful output, and because the LED is integrated, there is no bulb to buy or change. Its IP20 rating settles where it goes: indoors, in a dry room.

That makes it a natural fit for a living room, a bedroom or a snug, beside a sofa or an armchair. The long curve carries the globe out over the seat, so the light falls from above while the base sits to one side, and the side table stays clear for a book and a cup of tea. The LED is dimmable and its colour temperature adjusts from 2200 to 6500K, so one lamp gives a warm, candle-like glow for a quiet evening and a crisp, cool white for reading or close work. For anyone who wants a floor lamp that does more than one job, that choice of light is the real gain.

The arc and stem are steel in a black finish, the base is marble with a dark veined look, and the globe is grooved glass in a swirling pattern, amber at the top and paler towards the bottom. A foot switch means you can work it with a tap of the toe, no bending needed. The energy class is C. A soft, dry cloth keeps the glass and steel free of dust. The packed weight is 14.1KG, so it is worth having a second pair of hands to carry the box, and the installation instructions are available as a download.
