Description

The Pantoja is a three-light pendant with a round black steel ceiling canopy and three grooved glass globes hanging at staggered heights on slim black cords. Two of the shades are amber and one is a black-transparent smoke grey, and the swirling grooves catch the light so each globe looks as though it is turning. It stands 150cm tall overall and measures 52cm in diameter. Each light is an integrated LED of 5.8W giving 1,100lm, so there are no bulbs to buy or change. It is rated IP20, which means it belongs indoors in a dry room.

We would hang it above a dining table, a kitchen island or a low coffee table, where the three globes form a loose cluster that holds the eye. It also suits a hallway or landing with a generous ceiling height, where the mix of amber and smoke tones adds warmth without heavy colour. The black canopy and cords sit quietly against pale or dark ceilings, so the glass does the talking. Because the colour temperature runs from 2200K to 6500K, the same pendant can give a warm, low glow for an evening meal and a crisp, cool white whenever you need clear light for homework.

The body is steel in a black finish and the shades are grooved glass. The light is dimmable, its colour temperature is adjustable, and it is controlled by the remote control that comes in the box; the remote takes a CR2032 battery. There is no switch on the pendant itself, so it is turned on and off at the wall.
