The Pagoda is a 55mm diameter single GU10 pendant light with a narrow conical shade in matt black metal, suspended on an adjustable cable from a matching matt black ceiling rose. The compact 55mm head projects focused downlight from a single GU10 bulb (sold separately), making it suitable for accent lighting over kitchen worktops, bar counters, or as one unit in a linear run of multiple pendants.

Designed for task and accent applications rather than ambient room lighting, the Pagoda works best when clustered in groups of three or five over kitchen islands, dining tables, or retail counter displays. The 180mm minimum drop allows the fitting to sit close to ceiling height in low rooms, while the 2180mm maximum drop accommodates double-height hallways or stairwells where the pendant needs to descend into the space. The cable length is adjusted during installation by trimming to the required drop.

The matt black finish absorbs rather than reflects surrounding light, giving the pendant a low-profile appearance during the day and throwing attention onto the light beam rather than the fitting itself at night. The 55mm head dimension makes this one of the smallest directional pendants in the Mantra range, allowing tight spacing when used in multiples without visual clutter. The GU10 socket accepts any standard GU10 LED, halogen or CFL bulb up to the manufacturer's maximum rating, giving control over beam angle, colour temperature and brightness depending on the bulb chosen.

What bulb does the Pagoda take?

The pendant takes a standard GU10 bulb, sold separately. Most users pair this with a 4-7W GU10 LED in either 2700K warm white for residential spaces or 4000K neutral white for task lighting in kitchens and work areas. The GU10 socket is not dimmable on this model.

Can multiple Pagoda pendants be installed in a row?

Yes. The compact 55mm head allows tight spacing when installing three or more pendants in a linear run over a kitchen island or counter. Typical spacing is 300-500mm between centres depending on the length of the surface being lit.

How is the drop length adjusted?

The cable is trimmed to the required length during installation. The adjustable range is 180mm minimum to 2180mm maximum. Once trimmed, the cable length is fixed, so measure carefully before cutting.

Is the Pagoda suitable for low ceilings?

Yes. The 180mm minimum drop allows the pendant to sit relatively close to the ceiling in rooms with 2.2-2.4m ceiling heights, making it one of the more compact directional pendants available for task lighting in standard-height rooms.
