Pagoda 5.5cm LED Pendant Light 12.5W 3000K - Black

The Pagoda is a 5.5cm diameter conical LED pendant light in matt black with an integrated 12.5W 3000K LED delivering 950 lumens through a focused 36° beam. The narrow conical shade directs light downward, making the Pagoda a compact task or accent light rather than a broad ambient source.

Designed for kitchen islands, breakfast bars, worktops and counters where directed task light is needed without a large shade, the Pagoda can be installed singly over a specific task area or in linear runs of three to five pendants over a longer surface. The 2180mm adjustable drop allows the pendant to be set 600-900mm above a worktop depending on ceiling height. The 36° beam concentrates light on the work surface below rather than spilling sideways, reducing glare at eye level when seated nearby.

The matt black finish absorbs ambient light rather than reflecting it, keeping the fitting visually recessive when switched off during daylight hours. The 55mm diameter and conical taper give the Pagoda a minimal presence compared to traditional dome or globe pendants, making it suitable for contemporary kitchens, home offices and commercial hospitality spaces where lighting needs to be functional without dominating sightlines. At 0.8kg the pendant is light enough to be supported by standard UK ceiling roses on plasterboard ceilings without additional bracing.

Mantra manufactures the Pagoda in Spain. The integrated LED is non-dimmable and rated at 3000K, producing warm white light that sits between the cooler 4000K of most commercial LED downlights and the warmer 2700K of traditional incandescent task lighting.

Is the Pagoda dimmable?

No. The integrated LED is non-dimmable and operates at a fixed 12.5W output on 220-240V mains.

What does the 36° beam angle mean in practice?

A 36° beam is relatively narrow and concentrates the 950 lumens onto the surface directly below the pendant, minimising sideways light spill. This makes the Pagoda effective as task lighting over a worktop or desk but less suitable as general room illumination.

How many Pagoda pendants are needed over a kitchen island?

For a typical 1.8-2.4m island, three pendants spaced 600-800mm apart provide even task coverage. Longer islands may need four or five. The narrow beam means each pendant illuminates a roughly 600mm-diameter circle on the surface below when hung 700-800mm above it.

Can the drop length be adjusted after installation?

Yes. The cable is adjustable between 180mm and 2180mm during installation by feeding excess cable into the ceiling canopy. Once the canopy is fixed to the ceiling rose, the drop length remains set until the pendant is dismounted for adjustment.
