Description
The Oz is a round wall light built around a coiled opal band that spirals in towards the centre. Lit, the whole face glows as one soft ring of light rather than a single bright point, because the rubber diffuser spreads the output evenly across its surface. Unlit, it reads as a neat brushed-brass disc on the wall, the spiral giving it a quiet sculptural quality even when switched off.
This is the brushed-brass version, a circular fitting close to 300mm across that stands only 80mm off the wall, so it keeps a flat, low profile. Its warm metal tone catches daylight and holds a gentle sheen against a pale or a dark surface alike. The even wash suits a hallway, a landing, a spot beside a bed or a run above a sofa, where the aim is a broad friendly light rather than a directional beam. A simple on/off switch runs the fitting from the wall circuit.
The base and frame are plated brushed-brass metal and the glowing band is an opal rubber diffuser. Light comes from an integrated LED giving 2650 lumens at 4000K, a crisp cool-white tone, with a colour rendering index above 90 so shades stay true and no bulb is ever bought or replaced. It draws 26W, runs for around 30,000 hours and carries an IP20 rating for dry indoor rooms.

Frequently Asked
What kind of light does the Oz give?
A soft, even glow across a round face. The coiled opal band spreads the output so the fitting lights up as one gentle ring rather than a hard point, at 4000K cool white with a colour rendering index above 90 so tones read cleanly. It lights the wall and the area around it in a broad wash.
Does it need bulbs?
No. An integrated LED giving 2650 lumens is built into the body and included, so there is nothing separate to fit or swap. The module is rated for around 30,000 hours of normal use.
Can it be dimmed?
This is the on/off version, wired to switch on and off from the wall circuit, so we would treat it as a fixed 4000K output. There is also a push and DALI dimmable version of the Oz, and we are happy to advise if you need dimming before you order.
How big is it and where does it suit?
It is a round fitting about 290mm wide by 300mm tall, standing 80mm off the wall. The even brushed-brass disc suits a hallway, a landing, a bedside or a wall above a sofa, anywhere a warm broad light works better than a spotlight.
