Description

The Oz is a wall disc that reads as one flat circle of light. A matt black rim carries an opal rubber diffuser across its face, with the built-in LED behind it, so the plate throws a soft, even glow onto the wall rather than a hard beam or a ring of dots. Lit, the disc glows as a plain round; off, it holds as a quiet painted circle standing just clear of the surface.

The head measures 290mm across and stands 300mm tall, projecting only 80mm from the wall, so it sits close and low in profile beside a bed, along a hallway or either side of a mirror. Its wide face washes the wall around it in a 4000K cool white light, spread by the diffuser rather than aimed.

The diffuser is opal rubber and the base and frame are matt black powder-coated metal. Its integrated LED draws 26W for 2650 lumens at 4000K cool white, with a colour rendering index above 90 and a 30,000 hour life, so tones stay true and no bulb is ever bought or replaced. This is the on-off model, wired to a standard switch without dimming, and it carries an IP20 rating for dry indoor rooms, arriving ready to fit with the LED already in place.

What kind of light does the Oz give?

A wide, even wash at 4000K cool white. The LED sits behind an opal rubber diffuser across the whole face, so the light spreads as one soft round onto the wall rather than a point or a beam, and a colour rendering index above 90 keeps tones true.

Does it need bulbs?

No. An integrated LED rated at 26W and 2650 lumens is built into the disc and included, so there is nothing separate to fit. The module is good for around 30,000 hours of normal use.

Can it be dimmed?

This is the on-off version, so it switches at a fixed output on a standard wall switch and does not dim. There is also a DALI and push-dimmable model of the same disc, and we are happy to point you to it if the level needs to vary.

How big is it and where does it suit?

The head is 290mm across and 300mm tall, standing only 80mm off the wall. That slim profile suits a spot beside a bed, along a hallway or on either side of a mirror.
