Description
The Oz is a flush ceiling disc that mounts flat to the plaster and reads as one broad circle of light. A matt black powder-coated metal rim carries an opal rubber diffuser across the whole underside, with the built-in LED behind it, so the plate casts a wide even wash downward rather than a hard beam or a ring of dots. Switched on you see a slim dark rim holding the glow; off, it holds as a flat graphic circle, dark against the ceiling.
The disc spans 1000mm and stands 280mm off the ceiling, sitting close overhead with no cable or drop, which makes it a fit for lower rooms and landings that a suspended fitting would crowd. A full metre wide, it covers a large open-plan floor, a wide island or a double-height stair core, spreading even light across a big footprint while staying tight to the plaster.
Behind the diffuser the integrated LED draws 75W for 8300 lumens at 3000K warm white, with a colour rendering index above 90 and a rated life near 30,000 hours, so tones stay true and no bulb is ever bought or swapped. This is the on-off model, wired to a standard wall switch without dimming, and it carries an IP20 rating for dry indoor use. It arrives ready to mount with the module already fitted.

Frequently Asked
What kind of light does the Oz give?
A wide even wash at 3000K warm white. The LED sits behind an opal rubber diffuser across the full underside, so light spreads as one soft plate rather than separate points, and a colour rendering index above 90 keeps colours true.
Does it need bulbs?
No. An integrated LED rated at 75W and 8300 lumens is built into the disc and included, so there is nothing separate to buy or fit. The module is rated for around 30,000 hours of normal use.
Can it be dimmed?
This is the on-off version, so it runs at a fixed output on a standard wall switch and will not dim. There is also a DALI and push-dimmable model of the same disc, and we can point you to it if you need the brightness to vary.
How big is it and where does it suit?
At a full 1000mm across and 280mm deep it works over a large open plan, a wide island or a tall stairwell, filling the space from the plaster line without hanging down.
