Description

This is the Outrack ceiling LED driver, the power supply behind an Outrack track installation. It runs on 230V mains and powers the Outrack 24V track and the fittings it carries, so it gives no light of its own: it is what makes the track and its lights work. It is a long, slim rectangular housing, 49cm long, with a single connector near one end. It is dimmable, and we offer it in two dimming versions, TRIAC and 0-10V, so you can choose the one that suits the controls in your home.

On its own the driver does nothing, so plan the whole system together. You will need the Outrack 24V track and the fittings it powers, each sold separately: the track carries the power, and the fittings give the light. Rated IP65 and made for outdoor use, the driver suits a terrace, a patio, a pergola or a courtyard garden just as well as a living room, dining room or hallway. That makes it a sensible choice if you want one track system to light both the inside and the outside of your home, from a kitchen extension to the garden beyond it.

IP65 is a high rating against dust and water, which is what lets the driver go outdoors. It is a Class I fitting, which means it is earthed, and it is wired in to the mains, so it is for a qualified electrician to install. On dimming, the TRIAC version works with a compatible dimmer and the 0-10V version with a compatible 0-10V control, so check which your lighting controls use before you choose a version.
