Description

The Outrack Connection Cable is a 50cm link for our Outrack 24V track system. It joins one length of Outrack track to the next, carrying the system's 24V DC supply between them, so a run can carry on past the end of a single length. It is a slim round cable with a screw connector at each end, and it is rated IP65, which means it is sealed against dust and against jets of water. It gives no light of its own: it is the connecting piece that keeps the track live from one length to the next.

With its IP65 rating, the cable suits outdoor use, in a garden, on a terrace or along a patio, wherever an Outrack run needs to bridge a short gap between two lengths of track. Fifty centimetres gives you room to leave a space between lengths, or to take the run past something in its way, such as a post or a step. The cable is one part of the Outrack system and does nothing on its own. You will need the rest of the Outrack system, each part sold separately: the track lengths it joins and the lights that sit on them, all working at the same 24V DC.

Each end finishes in a ribbed screw connector, and the cable between them is plain and round, so it sits neatly along a wall, a fence or the edge of a deck without drawing the eye. Like the rest of the Outrack system, it is for a qualified electrician to install.
