Description

The Outline is a 6W LED magnetic track spotlight with a circular black aluminium head that clips onto Maytoni's Exility magnetic track system. The integrated LED outputs 3000K warm white light through a precision optical lens that creates a defined beam with a soft peripheral halo. The spotlight rotates 360° horizontally and tilts on its vertical axis, allowing the beam to be directed at walls, products, or architectural features.

Designed for magnetic track systems, the Outline clips into position on the 48V DC track without tools and can be repositioned as needed. This makes it suited to retail spaces, galleries, exhibition areas, and residential rooms where accent lighting needs to change as displays or furniture arrangements change. The rotary mechanism holds the spotlight firmly in position once adjusted, preventing drift under vibration or air movement.

The black anodised aluminium body dissipates heat efficiently and weighs approximately 200g per spotlight, allowing multiple units to be mounted on a single track run without overloading. The circular form measures 162mm in height including the track adapter, with the head itself forming a 50mm-diameter disc that projects 193mm from the track centreline when positioned perpendicular. The IP20 rating limits use to dry interior environments only.

The Outline is designed exclusively for Maytoni's Exility magnetic track system, which operates on 48V DC power. It is not compatible with standard 230V mains track systems from other manufacturers.

Can the spotlight be dimmed?

No, the integrated LED is not dimmable. Light levels are controlled by the number of spotlights installed and their positioning rather than by dimming individual units.

How is the spotlight positioned on the track?

The magnetic connector clips directly onto the Exility track and can be slid along the track length by hand. Once in position, the spotlight rotates 360° horizontally and tilts vertically to direct the beam where needed.

What beam pattern does the optical lens create?

The lens produces a focused central beam with a soft halo around the perimeter. This creates a circular pool of light that highlights products or features without sharp cutoff edges, making it suited to retail and gallery applications.
