Oso Small Reclaimed Wood & Iron Garden Table

The Oso is a garden dining table 180cm long, 94.5cm deep and 78cm high, with a top of reclaimed teak planks laid across the frame with a gap between each one. The planks are left as they came, so cracks, marks and a weathered surface run through the boards. The legs are two angular iron frames, each a flat sided loop that carries the top at its corners.

At 180cm long and 94.5cm across it is a table to put down the length of a terrace rather than to tuck into a corner. The gaps between the planks let rain fall through instead of standing on the top.

The top is reclaimed teak, so the boards carry the marks of whatever they were before and no two tables are the same. The legs are iron, powder coated rather than painted, which gives a harder finish and is what makes them fit for the garden. The table weighs 81kg. The Oso range also holds a large table at 220cm and benches in two sizes.

Yes, one. The large Oso table is 220cm long, and there are matching benches in two sizes.

How should it be looked after?

Wipe it down with a dry cloth every few months so moisture does not build up. Washing up liquid, warm water and a soft bristle brush are enough, and a hose on spray will rinse it, but never a pressure washer, which strips the timber. Let it dry fully, which is best done on a bright day. Teak oil or a water based stain will hold the original colour if that is wanted.
