Description

The Osier is a ceramic pendant light with a slim, round-shouldered shade in a Matt White Striped glaze. Fine vertical stripes run the full height of the shade, giving the white a soft, tactile texture. It is 25cm tall and 11.5cm across, made of brass and ceramic, and the holder above the shade comes in Antique Brass, Antique Silver, Matt Black, Polished Brass or Satin Brass; the Matt Black is painted in RAL 9005. The pendant takes one E27 bulb of up to 40W, and bulbs are sold separately, so you will need one for it.

The shade is open at its base, so the light falls downwards onto whatever sits beneath it. That makes the Osier a good fit for a dining room, hung over the table on its own or in a row, and for a living room, where it can light a reading chair or a side table. Its narrow width means it sits comfortably in a smaller space or alongside other pendants without crowding them. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms only.

Every Osier is made to order for you in Ireland. It is a Class I fitting, wired in to the mains by a qualified electrician. Because the shade keeps the same Matt White Striped glaze in every version, the choice comes down to the holder: Antique Brass or Antique Silver for an aged look, Polished Brass for shine, Satin Brass for a softer gleam, or Matt Black for contrast against the white. Pick the one that matches the other metals in the room, such as door handles or a mirror frame.
