Description

The Osier flush ceiling light pairs a cylindrical ceramic shade with a round ceiling plate, so it sits close to the ceiling rather than hanging on a drop. The shade carries the Blue Earth glaze, a blue-green surface with fine crackle lines running through it, and light falls from its open base. It is made of brass and ceramic and measures 19.5cm tall and 12cm across. The metalwork comes in six finishes: Antique Silver, Antique Brass, Matt Black, Polished Brass, Polished Copper or Satin Brass, with the Matt Black painted in RAL 9005. Bulbs are sold separately: it takes one E27 bulb of up to 40W.

At 19.5cm tall, it is a sensible choice for a hallway, where a pendant can crowd a lower ceiling and a compact fitting keeps the space clear overhead. A few along a long hallway give an even run of light from one end to the other.
