Description

The Oregon is a flush ceiling light with a single well-glass held in a brass cage. A round brass ceiling plate sits close to the ceiling, and a short neck drops to a deep collar. From that collar hangs the glass, rounded at its end and held by upright brass bars with a ring around its middle. It is compact at 23.5cm tall and 10cm across, a neat fit where a pendant would hang too low. We sell it in Natural Brass, Antique Brass, Antique Silver, Polished Brass and Satin Brass, and you choose the glass as well: Clear, Crackled or Frosted. Clear glass leaves the bulb on view, Crackled has a fine web of cracks running through it, and Frosted gives a softer, more even glow.

Rated IP65, the Oregon is well protected against water, so it suits a bathroom as readily as a hallway. In a bathroom it gives a clean, close-fitting light over the room. In a hallway it keeps headroom clear and brings the plain, sturdy look of a ship's light to the way in. It is a mains fitting, wired in to the mains by a qualified electrician. The bulb is sold separately: it takes one E27 bulb, up to 40W per bulb, so you can pick the bulb to suit the glass you choose.

Each Oregon is made to order for you in Ireland from brass and glass, in the finish and glass you choose. The maker guarantees the fittings it makes for five years from the date of purchase; bulbs are not covered by that guarantee. Choose the finish and the glass together when you order, and have your bulb ready, so the light works on the day your electrician fits it. Our photographs show the Natural Brass finish.
