The Orbis is a 100mm square downlight with a polished chrome finish on a turned aluminium body, designed to recess-mount into standard ceiling cutouts. The fixture takes a single GX53 bulb (sold separately) behind a chrome-plated reflector trim that sits flush or slightly proud of the ceiling surface depending on installation depth.

Designed for kitchens, bathrooms, hallways and commercial interiors where clean, directed downlight is needed without visible lamp heads, the Orbis works as individual task lighting or in multiples across a ceiling grid. The 100mm x 100mm footprint suits standard UK ceiling joist spacing and plasterboard cutout tools. The IP20 rating means the fitting is rated for dry indoor areas only. It is not suitable for bathroom zones 1 or 2 (within 2.25m of a shower or bath). For bathrooms, use IP44 or IP65-rated downlights in zones requiring splash or jet protection.
