Ora 1 Light Wall Light - Gloss White & Chrome

The Ora is a single-light wall fitting with a sculptural gloss white ABS body shaped into a curved cone profile, accented with polished chrome detailing and an opal diffuser at the front. The fitting houses a dimmable E27 socket and ships with a 15W CFL bulb producing 2700K warm white light. The combination of the opal diffuser and curved white body diffuses light evenly outward rather than creating a defined beam.

Designed for bedrooms, living rooms and hallways where ambient rather than task lighting is needed, the Ora works as a bedside reading light alternative or as paired accent lighting either side of a mirror, doorway or architectural feature. The 240mm projection from the wall and 310mm height give the fitting enough presence to work as a solo piece on a feature wall without overwhelming small rooms. The lightweight ABS construction weighs just 500g once installed.

The gloss white finish on the ABS body produces a clean, high-sheen surface that reflects surrounding light and pairs with white or light-coloured walls in contemporary, Scandinavian and transitional interiors. The polished chrome accents at the base and mounting bracket add reflective detail without introducing a second dominant colour. The opal diffuser prevents glare from the CFL bulb while maintaining even light distribution across the curved front face of the fitting.

The 130mm width keeps the fitting compact enough for narrow wall runs, while the 240mm projection carries light forward across the wall. Pair the E27 socket with a dimmable bulb and matching dimmer to set the output from full to a low background level.

Does the Ora come with a bulb?

Yes. The fitting ships with a 15W CFL bulb producing 2700K warm white light. The E27 socket also accepts standard LED, halogen or filament bulbs if you prefer to replace the included CFL with an alternative light source.

Is it dimmable?

The E27 socket supports dimmable bulbs when paired with a compatible dimmer switch. The included 15W CFL is dimmable. If you replace it with an LED, check that the LED bulb is marked as dimmable before pairing with a dimmer.

What rooms is it suited to?

The Ora works in bedrooms as a bedside reading light, in living rooms as accent lighting, and in hallways. The 240mm projection means it needs clear wall space without furniture pushed tight against the wall beneath it.

How is the ABS body cleaned?

Wipe the gloss white ABS with a soft, dry microfibre cloth. For fingerprints or marks, a barely-damp cloth with water is acceptable. Avoid abrasive cleaners, solvents or polishes that can dull the gloss finish or damage the chrome accents.
