Description

The Ondalo is a brass wall spotlight: a single flared, cylindrical head on a short knuckle arm, rising from a round wall plate. The head tilts on its joint so you can aim the light where it is needed, and as it moves the fitting measures between 7.5cm and 14cm tall and reaches between 9.5cm and 17cm out from the wall; it is 7.5cm wide. We offer it in six finishes: Polished Brass, Antique Brass, Antique Silver, Natural Brass, Matt Black and Satin Brass. It takes one GU10 bulb, up to 6.5W per bulb (LED); bulbs are sold separately.

We think the Ondalo is at its best in a kitchen, where a small spotlight you can aim does a job a ceiling light cannot: picking out open shelves, a dresser or a dark corner of the room. Use one on its own or fit several along a wall, and each head can be angled independently, so the light falls exactly where you want it. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms only: keep it away from the sink and anywhere it can be splashed. With six finishes to choose from, it can match the handles, rails or other metalwork already in the room, whether that is a warm brass, a soft silver or a plain black.

Every Ondalo is made to order for you, in brass, with a round wall plate, a slim arm and a flared head. It is a Class I mains fitting, wired in to the mains by a qualified electrician, so decide where it will sit before that work is done. One practical note: the head reaches up to 17cm from the wall, so allow for that when you place it above a shelf, a dresser or a cupboard, and the beam will land just where you want it.
