Description

The On Right is a 350mm LED wall light with a curved polished chrome arm flowing into a frosted acrylic diffuser, fitted with a built-in switch. An integrated 5W 3000K LED inside the diffuser casts 500 lumens of warm white light through the frosted material, softening the output and eliminating visible hotspots.

Designed for bedside reading positions, lounge seating areas and hallway accent lighting, the right-hand configuration places the switch on the right side of the fitting when viewed from the front, making it accessible for right-handed users positioned to the left of the light. The 60mm projection from the wall keeps the fitting clear of headboards and furniture edges, while the 120mm width provides enough diffusion to read comfortably without harsh shadows. The wall plate is 120mm in diameter and mounts to a standard UK back box.

The polished chrome finish reflects ambient light during the day and pairs with both cool-toned contemporary interiors and warmer neutrals. The frosted diffuser hides the LED source when switched off, presenting as a uniform white panel rather than showing visible diodes. At 500g the fitting can be mounted on plasterboard with appropriate anchors or directly into brick and blockwork. The integrated LED is rated at 3000K warm white, sitting between the yellowish cast of old incandescent bulbs and the cooler daylight tones of 4000K LEDs.

Why is it called 'Right' — which side does the switch sit on?

When viewing the light from the front, the switch sits on the right side of the fitting. This right-hand configuration suits bedside positions where the user sits to the left of the light, making the switch fall naturally to hand. A left-hand version (model M3565/S) is also available for the opposite bedside position.

Is the LED dimmable?

No. The integrated 5W LED operates at full output only and is not compatible with dimmer switches.

Can it be used as a reading light?

Yes. The 500-lumen output and 3000K warm white colour temperature provide sufficient brightness for reading when the light is positioned 600-900mm above a pillow or seating position. The frosted diffuser spreads the light evenly, avoiding harsh shadows on the page.

What wall depth is needed for installation?

The fitting mounts to a standard UK flush back box, typically 25-35mm depth. The 120mm wall plate conceals the back box entirely. The 60mm projection from wall to diffuser allows clearance over most headboards and furniture edges.
