Description

The Olgiata-E is a downward outdoor wall light in the shape of a traditional lantern: a square black frame with clear panels at the front and sides, hung from a short arm on a flat wall plate. The body is black plastic and the panels are clear plastic, so the bulb sits in full view. It measures 17cm in length and 25cm in height, and it stands 17cm out from the wall, a compact size that sits neatly beside a door. It takes a single E27 bulb, the everyday screw-cap size, and the bulb is not included. With an IP44 rating it is protected from splashing water, so it lives outdoors on a house wall in all weathers.

A downward lantern like this suits a front door, a back step, a porch or a garden wall, anywhere you want light beside the path and the keyhole. The black frame sits comfortably against brick, render or painted timber, and the classic lantern outline looks at home on a period cottage as readily as on a newer house. A pair either side of a doorway gives a balanced welcome, and a single one beside a garage or a gate makes coming home after dark easier.
