Description

The Ola is a 320mm LED bathroom mirror light with a curved frosted white diffuser mounted on a polished chrome backplate. An integrated 6W LED inside the diffuser produces 450 lumens of 3000K warm white light, rated IP44 for bathroom installation in zones 2 and 3. The light projects 115mm from the wall, positioning the frosted panel 50-60mm forward of typical mirror surfaces to cast even illumination across the face without creating harsh shadows.

Designed for mounting above or beside bathroom mirrors, the Ola suits vanity mirrors between 500-900mm width where even facial illumination is needed for grooming and makeup application. The 3000K colour temperature gives a warm white cast that complements skin tones without the clinical coldness of 4000K+ daylight whites. The IP44 rating allows installation in bathroom zones 2 and 3, meaning at least 600mm from shower heads and bath edges. The polished chrome backplate coordinates with chrome taps, towel rails and shower fittings commonly found in contemporary bathrooms.

The frosted diffuser follows a gentle curved profile rather than a flat plane, creating a subtle sculptural presence when viewed from the side. The chrome backplate measures 50mm tall, framing the diffuser along its top and bottom edges while the curved front surface extends forward to create dimensional depth. At 0.62kg the fitting mounts securely to plasterboard or tiled surfaces using the included wall fixings. The non-dimmable LED has a rated lifespan of approximately 25,000 hours at 3 hours daily use, equating to around 20 years before replacement.

Can this be used in a shower enclosure?

No. The IP44 rating is suitable for bathroom zones 2 and 3 only, meaning at least 600mm horizontally from a shower head or bath edge. For in-shower installation an IP65 or IP67 rated fitting is required.

Is the Ola dimmable?

No. The integrated LED is not compatible with dimmer switches. Attempting to wire it to a dimmer circuit may cause flickering or damage the driver.

What size mirror does it suit?

The 320mm width works well above mirrors between 500-900mm wide. For larger mirrors above 1000mm, consider pairing two Ola lights spaced symmetrically, or choosing a longer model from the range.

How is it cleaned?

Wipe the chrome backplate with a soft dry cloth or microfibre. For the frosted diffuser, use a barely-damp cloth with distilled water if needed, avoiding household sprays or abrasive cleaners that can damage the frosted finish.
