Ola Large LED Bathroom Wall Light - Polished Chrome & Frosted White

The Ola Large is a 440mm LED bathroom wall light with a polished chrome backplate and a frosted white acrylic diffuser running the full length of the fitting. An integrated 7W LED inside the diffuser produces 630 lumens of 3000K warm white light, spreading evenly across the full width of the fixture. The IP44 rating allows installation in bathroom zones 2 and 3, above sinks and outside shower enclosures.

Designed for mounting above mirrors and vanity units, the Ola Large suits bathrooms with wider mirrors (900mm or above) where a single central fitting provides more even illumination than two separate wall lights. The 440mm width covers most standard bathroom mirror widths without overhang. The 70mm projection from the wall keeps the fitting close to the surface, reducing shadow behind the light and avoiding collision with cabinet doors.

The polished chrome backplate reflects bathroom finishes and amplifies the light output by bouncing the LED's warm white glow back into the room. The frosted diffuser softens the LED diodes into a continuous band of light rather than visible point sources, reducing glare when viewed directly from the sink. The curved profile follows a gentle wave form, breaking up the linearity of typical bathroom lighting while maintaining a clean, contemporary silhouette. The fitting weighs just under 1kg, making it suitable for plasterboard walls with standard cavity fixings.

What bathroom zones can the Ola Large be installed in?

The IP44 rating allows installation in bathroom zones 2 and 3. This covers positions above sinks, vanity units, and outside shower enclosures, but not inside shower cubicles or directly above baths (which require IP65 or higher).

Is the Ola Large dimmable?

No. The integrated LED is non-dimmable and operates at a fixed 7W output on 220-240V mains supply.

What mirror width does the 440mm fitting suit?

The 440mm width suits mirrors from approximately 600mm to 1200mm wide. For mirrors narrower than 600mm, the fitting may overhang the edges. For mirrors wider than 1200mm, two smaller Ola fittings or a different configuration may provide better coverage.

How is the fitting cleaned?

Switch off at the mains before cleaning. Wipe the polished chrome backplate with a dry microfibre cloth to remove water spots and fingerprints. Clean the frosted diffuser with a barely-damp cloth and mild soap if needed, then dry thoroughly. Avoid spraying cleaning products directly onto the fitting.
