Description
A three-wick scented candle in a hand-blown recycled glass vessel, 13cm across and 13cm tall. The glass is graduated: pale amber at the rolled rim, turning opaque and milky through the middle, and finishing in a mottled, speckled crust of rust and brown across the base. The three wicks are set into a flat cream wax that fills the vessel almost to the rim. The scent opens on neroli, rose and jasmine over a base of oakmoss and cedarwood.
At 13cm across and just under a kilogram this is a large candle, for a coffee table, a hearth or a wide shelf rather than a bedside. It runs for around 75 to 80 hours. The register of the fragrance is green and woody underneath the flowers. Once the wax has burned down the vessel is made to be kept and used again for tealights.
The wax is a blend of sustainably sourced European soy wax and beeswax with a cotton wick, hand poured and packed in the United Kingdom by a family-run business. The fragrance was developed by a family-owned fragrance house with roots in Grasse. The vessel is recycled glass, blown by hand in India, so the mottling across the base falls differently on every one, and the packaging it arrives in is recyclable.

Frequently Asked
How long does it burn for?
Approximately 75 to 80 hours.
How many wicks does it have?
Three.
What does it smell of?
Neroli, rose and jasmine over oakmoss and cedarwood.
How should I burn it?
Let the wax melt out to the sides of the vessel the first time it is lit. Trim the wick to 5mm before each burn for an even flame. Burn it for at least two hours but no more than four at a time, in a well-ventilated room away from draughts, on a stable heat-protected surface. Stop burning when about 10mm of candle is left.
Can the glass be reused?
Yes. Put the vessel in a freezer for 6 to 12 hours until the wax has shrunk away from the glass and can be knocked out gently, then wipe it with a damp cloth to lift any residue. Do not leave it to soak, do not scrub it, and keep abrasives and harsh detergents away from it.
Is it safe to leave burning?
No. Do not move a burning candle, keep it away from children, pets and anything flammable, and never leave a lit candle unattended.
