O2 Small 3 Light Bar Pendant Light - Polished Chrome

The O2 Small is a 900mm 3-light bar pendant with rippled clear glass shades suspended from a polished chrome bar. Each shade is hand-formed to replicate the texture of oxygen bubbles rising through water, giving the glass an organic ripple pattern that catches and refracts light in multiple directions. The three G9 bulb fittings sit inside conical chrome housings that taper down from the bar.

Designed for kitchen islands, dining tables and breakfast bars between 1.2-1.8m long, the pendant provides task and ambient light across a linear surface. The 900mm bar length suits narrower islands and smaller dining tables where a full-size multi-pendant might overpower the space. The drop adjusts from 300mm to 1500mm on installation, allowing the shades to be set 700-900mm above the worktop depending on ceiling height. The polished chrome finish pairs with stainless appliances, brushed nickel hardware and cooler-toned contemporary kitchens.

Each glass shade measures approximately 120mm across and hangs on a fixed-length cable spaced evenly along the bar. The rippled texture is hand-formed during glass production, so minor tonal variation between individual shades is characteristic of the manufacturing process. The fitting weighs 5.95kg and requires secure ceiling fixing to a joist or cavity anchor rated for the weight. The G9 bulbs (sold separately) are typically 3-5W LED in warm white for kitchen use, or can be swapped to daylight-temperature LEDs for task-focused applications.

The 220-240V supply and one year warranty apply. Setting all three drops to a matching height gives a level line, or vary them within the range for a staggered look above the surface below.

What bulbs does it take?

The pendant takes three G9 capsule bulbs (sold separately). We suggest pairing it with 3-5W LED G9 bulbs in 2700K-3000K warm white for kitchen islands or dining tables. Daylight-temperature LEDs (4000K+) can be used where brighter task light is needed.

Is it dimmable?

Yes, provided you use dimmable G9 LED bulbs. The fitting itself supports dimming, but non-dimmable bulbs will not dim and may flicker or fail on a dimmer circuit.

What table or island length does it suit?

The 900mm bar length suits kitchen islands and dining tables between 1.2-1.8m long. For islands longer than 1.8m, consider the larger O2 model or positioning two O2 Small pendants in sequence.

How is the drop adjusted?

The cables are adjustable on installation between 300mm and 1500mm. Once the pendant is hung and the ceiling rose cover fitted, the drop is fixed. For dining tables the pendant typically sits 700-800mm above the table surface; for kitchen islands 750-900mm above the worktop.
