Description

The Nut B/90/2L is a two-light LED bollard light standing 90cm above the ground, with two bell-shaped heads set one above the other on opposite sides of a slim square post. Each head is 10cm across, and the pair span 30cm from side to side. The light comes from an integrated LED, so there is no bulb to buy or change. At 12.6W it gives 757 lumens of warm 2700K light with a CRI of 90, which keeps planting, stone and brickwork looking true to colour after dark. It is finished in Textured Black.

This is a garden light through and through. It is rated IP65, so it suits outdoor use: along a path, beside a driveway, at the edge of a lawn or patio, or among the borders. With its two heads facing opposite ways, a single post works well where a path bends or runs between two beds, and a row of them marks out the way to the front door. It suits anyone who wants low, warm light outside rather than a floodlight on the wall. It is TRIAC dimmable, so on a compatible dimmer you can bring it down to a gentle glow for evenings on the terrace.

It is made from stainless steel, aluminium and PA12, and the Textured Black finish sits quietly against foliage, gravel and dark paving, so the post fades into the planting by day. The design is by Estudi Manel Molina. It runs on 230V mains and is a Class II fitting; it is wired in by a qualified electrician, and a 12cm anchor sits below ground to keep the post upright. With the LED built in, there is no bulb to replace, so once it is in place there is very little to think about, night after night.
