Description

The Nut B/60 is a garden bollard light from our Nut range: a slim square post with one bell-shaped head set to the side of it, finished in Textured Graphite Brown. It stands 60cm above the ground, the head is 10cm across, and the whole light projects 17.5cm. The light source is an integrated LED, so there is no bulb to buy or change. It draws 6.3W and gives 374 lumens of warm 2700K light with a CRI of 90, so planting, stone and paving keep their true colours after dark. The head opens downward, casting its light onto the ground around the post.

Rated IP65, it is made for outdoor use and suits a garden all year round: along a path, at the edge of a border, beside a lawn or by a gate, where a low pool of light helps you find your way without lighting the whole garden. The dark textured finish sits quietly among shrubs and grasses by day, so the post reads as part of the planting. It is TRIAC dimmable, so with a compatible dimmer you can turn it down for a softer glow on a summer evening or keep it brighter near the house. It runs on 230V mains and is wired in by a qualified electrician.

The body is made from stainless steel, aluminium and PA12, and the Textured Graphite Brown finish has a fine grain that sits well beside stone, timber and brick. It is a Class II fitting, and the design is by Estudi Manel Molina. Below ground it has a 12cm anchor, in addition to the 60cm that stands above it. As a practical note, it is worth settling where each bollard will stand while the beds and paths are still being planned, so the wiring can reach it before the planting goes in.
