Description

The Nut B/60 is an LED bollard light for the garden, with a bell-shaped head set to one side of a slim square post, casting its light down onto the ground beside it. It stands 60cm above the ground, with a 12cm anchor below ground, and the head is 10cm across. The fitting projects 17.5cm and measures 11.6cm in length. It has an integrated LED of 6.3W giving 374 lumens, so there is no bulb to buy or change. The light is a warm 2700K with a CRI of 90, so leaves, paving and stone keep their true colours after dark. It is finished in Textured Black.

Rated IP65, it is made for outdoor use and suits garden borders, lawns, paths and driveways, anywhere you want a low, soft light at ground level rather than a bright flood. A few spaced along a path mark the way at night, while one set beside a planted bed lights the foliage and the ground beneath it. It is dimmable on a compatible TRIAC dimmer, so you can turn it down for a quiet evening outside or bring it up for guests. At 60cm tall it sits below eye level, so the light falls where you walk rather than into your eyes.

The Nut B/60 is made from stainless steel, aluminium and PA12, and its Textured Black finish lets the post settle quietly among planting by day, so it looks like part of the garden rather than something added to it. The design is by Estudi Manel Molina. It runs on 230V mains and is wired in, so it is for a qualified electrician to install. Once it is in place, you have a warm, dimmable light at the edge of the lawn with no bulb to buy.
