Description

The Nur is a sculptural LED wall light with two curved aluminium arms finished in silver, joined by a central polished chrome disc and capped with a frosted polycarbonate diffuser. Designed by Jose L. Ballester and Santiago Sevillano for Mantra, the fitting integrates a single 10W LED module emitting 850lm at 3000K warm white with a 120° beam angle, creating diffused ambient light across the wall plane.

Designed for living rooms, bedrooms and hallways needing decorative wall lighting with a warm ambient glow, the Nur sits 170mm proud of the wall and covers approximately 320mm vertical height and 145mm width. The sculptural profile makes it work as both functional light source and wall decoration, particularly when used in pairs on either side of a fireplace, headboard, or console table.

The curved aluminium arms sweep from the central chrome disc in opposite directions, forming an asymmetric profile that creates visual movement against flat wall surfaces. The silver finish is a soft satin tone that absorbs rather than reflects light, while the polished chrome disc provides a small reflective accent. The frosted polycarbonate diffuser hides the LED source completely, preventing glare even when the fitting is positioned at eye level.

At 0.5kg the fitting mounts securely to plasterboard or masonry with the supplied bracket. The integrated LED is non-replaceable but rated for 25,000+ hours typical lifespan. The fitting is not dimmable and operates directly from 220-240V mains without an external driver.
