Description
The NU-X NPA-100 is a wedge monitor built for the stage, with a single 12" (300mm) main driver and dual 2" (50mm) dome tweeters. It works as a floor monitor for vocalists, as foldback for digital drums, and as an FRFR (full range, flat response) backline for guitar and bass players who run modellers or preamps. The angled wedge shape sits low on the floor so you can aim the sound back towards yourself without it dominating the mix.
Inside is a 120W RMS amplifier section with two jack inputs, each with its own volume control and a 3-band EQ for shaping tone. Every input has a matching XLR output at the rear, so you can send a DI (direct injection) feed straight to the mixing console or desk when you need it. You can switch between mono and stereo operation depending on how many sources you are running and how you want them spread. The NPA-100 also ships with the NBT-1 Bluetooth receiver, giving you wireless audio for backing tracks or quick playback between sets.
It runs on a universal 100-240Vac supply via a standard IEC connector, so it works across UK and worldwide power. The cabinet measures 405 x 434 x 463mm and weighs 15.8kg, which keeps it manageable for one person to carry to a gig and set up. For players and singers who want one compact box that covers monitoring, drum foldback and modeller playback, the NPA-100 is a practical all-rounder that earns its place on stage.
