Description

The NU-X AC-25 is the smallest and most portable amplifier in the NU-X acoustic range, giving you 25W of output from a compact angled cabinet. You can run it from the mains using the included 15Vdc 2.5A adaptor, or from the internal rechargeable Li-ion battery, so it works just as well at home as it does out busking. The top panel has separate inputs for both acoustic guitar and a vocal microphone, each with its own volume control, which makes it a handy all-in-one for solo performers.

Onboard sound shaping comes from a 3-band EQ and a built-in digital reverb effect with plate and hall options. There's also a built-in tuner covering A0 to C8, so you can get in tune without carrying extra gear. If you want to go further, the free Stageman app for iOS or Android connects over Bluetooth and lets you edit parameters directly from your phone. The same Bluetooth link streams audio to the AC-25, so you can play along with backing tracks.

Round the back you'll find a headphone output (called a headphone jack in the US), a line output and an aux input, giving you flexible connections for practice and recording. A single 165mm (6.5") full range driver handles a frequency response of 63Hz to 20kHz. At 280 x 220 x 218mm and 5.0kg, it stays easy to carry between small venues, rehearsals and busking spots. It's a well-featured and straightforward acoustic and vocal amplifier for players who want to travel light.
