Description
The Nordica is a 310mm flush ceiling light with an ivory white outer shade and an opal white inner diffuser, housing an integrated 12W LED rated at 3000K warm white and 1200 lumens. The dual-layer shade construction gives the fitting a soft glow when lit, with the opal diffuser preventing direct view of the LED source and the ivory outer shade adding a textured finish visible when the light is off.
Designed for rooms with ceiling heights of 2.3m or lower where a pendant would hang too close to head height, the 90mm projection from ceiling to base makes the Nordica suitable for bedrooms, hallways, compact living rooms, home offices and utility spaces. The flush-mount design means no drop, no chain, and no visual intrusion into the room volume. The 1200 lumens output provides general ambient light for spaces up to 12-15m², roughly equivalent to a small bedroom or medium hallway.
The ivory white finish sits warmer in tone than pure white, pairing comfortably with cream walls, natural wood furniture, soft textiles and warm neutral colour schemes. The opal diffuser softens the light spread, removing hard shadows and giving an even ceiling wash that works in rooms where task lighting is handled by separate fittings. At 1.6kg the fitting requires a standard ceiling rose and can be installed on plasterboard ceilings with appropriate fixings.

Frequently Asked
Is the Nordica suitable for low ceilings?
Yes. The 90mm projection from ceiling to base makes it a good choice for rooms with ceiling heights of 2.3m or lower, where a pendant would hang too close to head height. It provides ambient light without encroaching into the room volume.
What size room does 1200 lumens cover?
1200 lumens at 3000K provides general ambient lighting for spaces up to approximately 12-15m², roughly equivalent to a small bedroom, medium hallway, or compact home office. For larger spaces, multiple fittings or supplementary lighting may be needed.
Can the LED be replaced?
No. The LED is integrated into the fitting and is not user-replaceable. The LED is rated for 25,000+ hours of use, which equates to approximately 10-15 years of typical residential use before replacement of the entire fitting is needed.
Is it dimmable?
No. The integrated LED is not dimmable and should be connected to a standard on/off switch only. Connecting to a dimmer switch may cause flickering or damage to the driver.
