Description

The Nora is a single-bulb wall light combining a white metal backplate, a natural wood accent piece, and a clear-to-frosted cylindrical glass shade. The shade tapers slightly from base to rim, with the glass transitioning from clear at the top to a soft frosted finish near the wood base. An E27 socket inside takes a standard Edison screw bulb (sold separately), allowing the choice of LED, halogen or decorative filament.

Designed for bedrooms, hallways, living rooms and bathrooms (check IP rating if using in a bathroom), the Nora provides ambient rather than task lighting. The frosted lower section of the glass diffuses light downwards and outwards, while the clear upper section allows some direct light to wash up the wall. The 230mm projection from the wall means the light sits forward enough to cast a noticeable glow rather than sitting flush. Pairs well when used symmetrically either side of a bed, mirror or along a hallway at 1.5-1.8m height.

The white metal backplate measures 180mm wide and the natural wood accent sits between the backplate and the glass shade, giving a Scandinavian profile that works with pale timber, white walls and neutral tones.
