The Noortje cushion prints an array of bows across a soft velvet face, each one drawn in a different colour against a fine vertical stripe. Red, blue, green, ochre, sage and dusky pink bows sit at different heights across the front, some plain, some scattered with small daisies or spots, so the eye keeps finding a new detail. The face is velvet with a plain velvet reverse, and the square measures 45cm by 45cm, a standard scatter size that fits ready-made pads without hunting for an odd shape. It is made from 100% polyester throughout.

This is a cushion for a sofa or a made bed where you want a little charm rather than a whole scheme. The busy, playful front works best against calmer companions, so pair it with plain cushions in one of the bow colours picked out from the print, or let it be the single patterned piece among solids.
