The Noon is a 720mm spherical pendant light built from clear cylindrical glass tubes and elongated droplet-shaped glass pieces radiating from a polished nickel core. Twelve E14 bulb sockets sit within the sphere, each positioned to light the surrounding glass elements from within. The polished nickel finish covers the central hub, suspension rod and ceiling canopy, creating a continuous metallic structure that holds the glass in radial symmetry.

Designed for double-height entrance halls, over dining tables in rooms with ceiling heights above 2.7m, and central positions in open-plan living spaces, the Noon provides both decorative presence and functional light distribution. The 1976mm maximum drop is adjustable down to 726mm minimum on installation, allowing the pendant to be set at different heights depending on ceiling clearance and visual balance. The combination of cylindrical tubes and tapered droplets gives the sphere a varied texture when viewed from different angles, with each glass element catching light differently.

Each of the twelve E14 sockets takes a candle-style bulb up to 20W (sold separately), giving flexibility to choose between warm-white LED for ambient light or clear filament bulbs where the bulb itself becomes part of the decorative effect. The clear glass provides minimal colour filtering, so the chosen bulb's colour temperature directly influences the room tone. The 8.5kg weight requires secure ceiling fixing to a joist or reinforced ceiling rose rated for the load. What bulbs does the Noon take?

The pendant takes twelve E14 candle-style bulbs, each up to 20W maximum. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with warm-white LED bulbs between 4-6W and 2700K-3000K, or clear filament-style LED bulbs where the bulb itself adds to the decorative effect.

Is it dimmable?

Yes, when fitted with dimmable E14 bulbs. The pendant itself has no electronic components that prevent dimming, so compatibility depends entirely on the bulbs chosen and the dimmer switch installed.

What ceiling height is needed?

The 720mm diameter sphere with a 726mm minimum drop works in rooms with ceiling heights of 2.7m or above. For dining table positions, the pendant typically sits 700-900mm above the table surface. For entrance halls or living rooms, a higher drop setting gives the sphere space to float visually without dominating sightlines.

How is the glass cleaned?

Switch off the power and allow bulbs to cool. Use a dry microfibre cloth to wipe each glass tube and droplet individually. For more stubborn marks, a barely-damp cloth with distilled water is acceptable, but avoid soaking the glass or using household sprays near the E14 sockets.
