Noko Large Wicker Dome Pendant Light - Natural

The dome Noko is a deep rounded hood of open woven wicker, 60cm across and 51cm from the crown to the open rim. Fine wicker strips run round it in close rings over upright stakes, packed tight at the top and opening out lower down, so the bulb inside shows through the sides as a soft glow rather than as a point. The lampholder hangs inside near the crown, and the shade comes on a black flex.

A dome this deep sends most of its light down through the open rim, and the weave lets the rest out at the level of the shade, so the glow sits at head height and the pool is on the table. At 60cm it fills the space over a round table on its own, and the 51cm depth means it hangs into the room rather than sitting up near the ceiling. It takes an E27 bulb, it is dimmable, the flex runs 1.5m, and it is rated IP20 for dry indoor rooms.

The shade is wicker, woven by hand over upright stakes, so the rings vary in spacing and the strips in width and tone. The height can be adjusted by an electrician. The Noko range also holds a conical wicker pendant 40cm across, a round one 54cm across, a rattan flush ceiling fitting, two rattan table lamps and a rattan wall light. Bulbs are not included.

What bulb does it take?

An E27 screw fitting. Fit no more than the maximum wattage marked on the lampholder inside the shade.

Can the drop be changed?

The flex runs 1.5m as supplied, and the height can be adjusted by an electrician.

How is it different from the other Noko pendants?

The conical is 47cm deep and 40cm across and the round one is 35cm deep and 54cm across. This is the deepest and the widest of the three at 51cm and 60cm.

How do I clean it?

Use a soft bristle brush to take the dust out of the weave. Keep harsh chemical cleaners off the wicker.
