Noctra LED Bathroom Wall Light 11.5W 3000K - White, 60cm

The Noctra is a 60cm LED bathroom wall light built around a powder-coated aluminium frame with an opal polycarbonate cylindrical diffuser. An integrated 11.5W LED inside the tube emits 3000K warm white light through the diffuser, providing glare-free illumination across the full 605mm length. The IP54 rating protects the LED and internal components from water splashes and bathroom humidity.

Designed for bathroom mirror and vanity installations, the Noctra mounts horizontally above or beside a mirror, casting even light across the reflection surface without creating harsh shadows on faces. The 57mm projection from the wall keeps the fitting close to the wall plane while positioning the light source far enough forward to avoid direct glare when standing at the basin. The white powder-coated finish pairs with white bathroom suites and contemporary tiled interiors.

The opal polycarbonate diffuser is impact-resistant and lightweight compared to glass equivalents, making it less prone to cracking under thermal stress from the LED heat output. The powder coating on the aluminium frame provides corrosion resistance in high-humidity bathroom environments, maintaining the white finish over time. The 11.5W LED output is fixed and non-dimmable, running on standard 230V mains without requiring a separate driver box.

What does IP54 mean for bathroom use?

IP54 indicates protection against dust ingress and water splashes from any direction. This makes the Noctra suitable for bathroom zones 2 and 3 (outside the immediate shower enclosure but within the wider bathroom space), including above basins and beside mirrors. It is not rated for use inside shower cubicles (zone 1) or directly above baths without additional protection.

Is the LED replaceable?

No. The LED is integrated into the fitting and designed to last the lifetime of the product (typically 25,000-30,000 hours, or approximately 10-15 years of typical bathroom use). The entire fitting would need replacing at end of life rather than just the LED module.

Can this be mounted vertically?

The Noctra is designed for horizontal mounting above or beside mirrors. Vertical mounting is physically possible if the fixing points align, but the light distribution is optimised for horizontal orientation to cast even light across a horizontal plane rather than up-and-down a wall.

How is it cleaned?

Switch off at the mains before cleaning. Wipe the polycarbonate diffuser with a damp microfibre cloth and mild soapy water if needed. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents that can scratch the polycarbonate or damage the powder-coated aluminium finish. The IP54 rating protects against water ingress during normal cleaning.
