Description

The Noctis is a 60mm-diameter white cylinder pendant light with a single GU10 downlight fitting, mounted on a 2m adjustable fabric cable. The 400mm-high cylinder body acts as both shade and diffuser, casting a focused beam downward while the white metal finish reflects light outward to soften shadows. A matching white metal ceiling rose conceals the cable entry point and fits standard UK ceiling roses.

Designed for task lighting over kitchen worktops, bathroom vanities, bedside tables and breakfast bars, the Noctis works where a compact pendant is needed without overwhelming small spaces. The 2m cable allows the pendant to be positioned 600-800mm above a worktop or 700-900mm above a bedside table, depending on ceiling height. The GU10 fitting accepts any standard UK GU10 bulb up to the rated wattage (sold separately), giving flexibility to choose between warm white, cool white or dimmable LED bulbs.

The white powder-coated metal finish pairs with Scandinavian, minimal and contemporary interiors, and the 60mm diameter keeps the fitting visually light when hung in multiples. At 400mm tall, the cylinder proportion suits standard 2.4m ceiling heights without dominating sightlines. The IP20 rating limits use to dry indoor locations only.

What bulb does the Noctis take?

The pendant takes a standard GU10 bulb (sold separately). Most users fit a 4-6W LED GU10 in 2700K-3000K for warm task lighting over worktops or bedside tables. The fitting is dimmable when paired with a dimmable GU10 bulb and compatible dimmer switch.

Can the cable length be adjusted?

Yes. The 2m fabric cable can be shortened during installation to suit the required drop height. Once cut, the cable cannot be re-extended, so measure carefully before trimming.

Is it suitable for bathrooms?

The IP20 rating means the Noctis is only rated for dry indoor locations. It can be used in bathrooms outside Zone 1 and Zone 2 (typically further than 60cm from a shower head or bath edge), but not directly above or near water sources.

Can multiple Noctis pendants be hung together?

Yes. The compact 60mm diameter makes the Noctis well-suited to clustering in groups of two or three above kitchen islands or along a breakfast bar. Each pendant requires its own ceiling rose and wiring unless fitted to a multi-outlet ceiling plate.
